Pros: Xcalibur is a good slot from Microgaming that I started to play recently, being tired to lose money with Immortal Romance or similar 243 ways to win slots! This isn’t a 243 ways to win slot and that’s why I chose this slot to play! But it has 50 paylines so the minimum bet is 0.50 euro, a little bit high bet because I am usually playing on lower bets!

Anyway I started the slot, I wasn’t impressed by its graphics because the game seems to be old but the characters and theme of the slot made me happy! I had 20 euro available to play this game and I decided to spend this money at this slot, maybe I will win something! About 10-15 spins passed and I saw 3 scatters, I was awarded with 12 free spins that paid me 17.6 euro, a decent win I could say! This game also has a bonus game that is triggered when a key symbol appears on reels 2, 3 and 4 but I didn’t had the chance to catch this bonus! The last feature of this game is a wild symbol that is represented by a sword and appears only on reels 1, 3 and 5 and substitutes for all symbols excepting scatter and key symbol! I want to say that it has a good payout rate, a decent one because I made 25 euro from this slot in about 15 minutes!

I will try to rate this slot now, I was a little bit disappointed because of the minimum bet that is 0.50 euro but I think that it deserves to play with this bet because you will win more! The graphics aren’t very good but the theme and the design of the characters are, so I will give a 9 for this! Also, for the payout rate and features like free spins, wild and bonus game I will give another 9!
Cons: In this video slot, sure, the 50 paylines are super great but what knocked it down a few notches would be the replicated symbols on the reels. There were 2 Dragon symbols in one reel and two shields in the next preventing me from gaining some good winnings.

The same goes for the other symbols except for the Wild Excaliburs, the key symbols and the Wizard scatters....assuming that has to be Merlin for this slot! 12 Free spins at 2x were the suckiest free spins I have played......I didn't get a lot out of them and they can't hit for another set of free spins inside! As if the small multiplier wasn't crap enough it had to get worst with the guaranteed possibility of NOT retriggering!

Pros: Xcalibur game is powered by microgaming. I really like this game. it is a new game and i only came across it on an online version of Ladbrokes. I played it like five times and for me personally it has been very good and paid a decent amount of money. There are 50 lines in this game and two features, there is a free spins feature and a bonus.

First time i played this game i only had €10 on my account. I put the game down to 20 lines and raised to two coins. After few spins i got three Merlin on the reels and was awarded with 12 free spins with all wins doubled. The free spins were amazing. there is wilds in this game and they can cover 1,3 and 5 reels. I was getting wilds almost every spin and won in total over €37. Max i ever won on this feature was over €60 on a €1 bet. even though there are 50 lines i never play them. i stick to 20 lines with 5 coins to make it a €1. The wins are really big on this bet and wilds come out more. because most games that i play are 20 lines it actually suits me perfect.

There is also a bonus feature and you need to get three keys on the 2,3 and 4 reels. This is a pick bonus so you pick until you find collect symbol. Max i ever won on this game was around €12. To be honest i like free spins more than other bonus. if i was to rate this game i would give it 8 out of 10.

Pros: Xcalibur is a really large 50 paylines and is a Microgaming video slot. I haven't put too much effort in this video slot but I do know enough to tell you what I have seen! There have been duplicated symbols on all the reels which I only find to be of help when they make combinations with each other but what I have been doing is betting $2.50 thinking I've already set up my bets so I didn't notice it. I later used $0.50 bets to conserve my bets after I realized my bets were flushing down! Such a fail on my part!

The only thing I've seen in my spins were 12 Free spins at 2x for 3 Merlin/wizard symbols. It's too bad these free spins can't retrigger themselves! A small total win of $13.30 was small but decent. I was happy to take them! The other bonus that involved key symbols didn't appear to me so I am curious to know what would happen if I collected symbols to trigger that bonus. The best to expect for Xcalibur would be to see these stacked wild swords....at first to me it looked like a lightsaber upon first sight but it is really indeed a very nice addition to this video slot. Although, next time I would take my chances on another 50 payline slot besides Xcalibur.
