But how does this game fair compared to other Irish themed slots like Lucky Leprechaun’s Loot, Irish Eyes I & II, Leprechaun goes Egypt and Golden Shamrock for instance? I was eager to find out once this game was available at 32Red and decided to profit from a deposit bonus.
With my balance doubled up from 20 euros to 40 euros I decided to give this game a shot on 40 cent bets. Lucky Leprechaun contains 5-reels, 3-rows and 20-paylines. The minimum bet is 20 cents and it has two main features on offer.
The background music really gets you in the mood for some Irish festivities and the symbols with leprechauns, beers and violins among others do depict this theme in a very detailed manner. I've played this bonus game a couple times, but never got further than 3 bonus symbols and therefore the max win was 500x bet.

Altough it may seem easy to trigger the free spins- you only have to get scatter on reel 5, believe me it is not. And the spins amount seems very small too- 5 spins with 2x multiplier. But to get the bonus round you have get at least 3 bonus scatters. In it there's a wheel you have to spin. If you had 3 bonus symbols, you'll get 4 spins on the wheel, if 4 symbols-5, and if 5 symbols, you'll spin the wheel 6 times. The wheel consists of numbers 1-5. They represent the amount of steps your Leprechaun will make, each step has different multiplier, starting from 7x. The multiplier will count on bet amount. It's great if you play with high bets. You can get an extra spin discovering some symbol, but I haven’t experienced it.

I thought this to be quite a nice thing, in the end most of the FS that I got ended up giving me in a range from 5$ to max. 15$ , which I personally though was little.

It is also very important how many symbol activated this bonus since 3 symbols give lesser prize and less spins. With 3 symbols you will get 4 spin, 4 symbols will get you 5 spins and 5 symbols will get you 6 spins. Regarding the spins that you receive they will be used to spin a wheel that has numbers ranging from 1 – 5 and they represent how many steps you will take. Basically the more you take the bigger the prize will be. My personal best was only 40 x since I never managed to get more than 3 symbols. In the main game my top payout was a little bit over 10$ thanks to some nice five of a kinds. In the end I managed to make a small profit of 20$.
Overall I think this is a great game, that can be lots of fun, but it can also be very frustrating depending on your luck. 8/10
