lady of fortune Reviews by Players

In one of the numerous tournaments held in Casumo Casino some time back, a mention was made about the game 'Lady of Fortune' being the third most popular game played by the competing players. I was indeed surprised. I haven't actually played this Play'n Go game before, and that statement certainly caught my cat curiosity trait! Meow! Hehehe. So, what did I do then? Try out the Lady of Fortune game of course!

Well, my first impressions on the game weren't that good. Graphically, there wasn't anything new nor astonishing, just an acceptable introductory scenario in purplish pink hue, followed by a game screen that didn't catch my eye at all. Not that it is that bad, it was just not striking enough. Thankfully though, the Lady of Fortune icon was pretty enough to catch my interest. What else but only a pretty woman can do that to my eyes! Hahaha.

This 15-paylines game pays both ways, but also pays a cluster-of-3-or-more way, something like how the game Aloha! Cluster Pays would pay. In this Lady of Fortune case, only 3 or more connected symbols are required to get a win. Sounds interesting enough. The Golden Wild is the Wild symbol, which can pay 2x, 3x, 4x or 5x for a substituted win, but this Wild is a blardy stupid and dumb Wild indeed! Why? Because the paytable shows a possibility of 9 positions for that Wild symbol, whereas in the actual game, the Wild symbol can only appear on reel 3, and only one Wild symbol at a time! What a blardy misleading paytable from Play'n Go! That got me very very angry and frustrated indeed! I had waited and waited and waited for 2 or 3 Wilds to appear on the reels, but only getting one Wild each time, and only only reel 3. That got me so mad, that was my first and last play ever on Lady of Fortune!

Getting 3 Bonus symbols (that pretty woman, or lady) on reels 1, 3 and 5, award a Bonus game, a pick-and-win game, an aargh game for me! Each time I picked one of the 3 crystal balls, I would only get the lowest win of the 3! Many times in succession like that, with the 2 bigger wins always avoiding my pick, somehow or rather. And all that was playing only with the minimum bet per spin! All a random win? Yeah, right, like my foot more likely!

What about 5-of-a-kind wins? Hmm, getting that would be like getting a Wild Desire feature in Immortal Romance! I had played several hundreds of spins, and got only 1 5-of-a-kind of those beetles, the payout of which couldn't even cover half of what it had already eaten up! What a lot of rubbish! If you ask me what about the paytable, well, to me, it is as good as the game itself...almost useless! What's the point of paying 2500x the line bet for 5 of the 7s, when any 5-of-a-kind win would take hundreds of spins to come?
Well Play'n Go, you may get some other players to like and enjoy your Lady of Fortune game, but I got to see the ugly side of the game right from the start, so it'll be in my deep freezer for ever more!

"Lady of Fortune" is just one of the slots Play'nGo developed under the same template of those that in my opinion look promising in theory but in practice are inclined at a clear disadvantage to the player. This disadvantage is evident because of a lower percentage of hits and payouts fairly tight.

In principle, this game has very attractive features such as:
• Winnings are paid from left to right, right to left and also fragments of three symbols on the three middle reels.
• Wild symbols with multipliers x2, x3, x4 and x5.
• A small number of standard symbols, seven to be exact, and as fewer the number of these symbols better are the chances to get more hits.
• A click me bonus offers an instant award but with a medium potential prize.

Good features in theory, but when you start to playing this game you feel that all these cool features do not seem to work as they should, the wild symbols appear seldom, and when they do appear to symbols around them rarely are enough to generate a hit, symbols often appear stacked but not so much to help but rather to interpose in the middle of some line matching, to give the impression that the RNG does not act randomly but with any evil purpose; besides we can add to these aspects that the rates stipulated on the pay table seem not to have in mind that this is a slot with only 15 paylines and 5 x 3 reels. All these without mentioning that the unique feature of bonus is achieved after the appearance of 3 scatters that occur only on reels 1, 3 and 5, but it is inexplicably harder to trigger a single bonus round here compared with slots of other brands that have a mechanism of activation completely identical. I love many of the slots created by Play'nGo, but I must say that slots that use this template, easily identifiable because they meet the characteristics listed above, definitely seem to offer no great opportunities for players, so my suggestion is that do not be captivated by a slot only guided by its beautiful design, and in this case recommend to let pass this one and the other slots of this provider using the same template, I know there are other games of this developer with better potential.
