Pros: "Illuminious" is a slot with a very attractive design where bright symbols are contrasting elegantly on a dark background and animations made during events include blinking and flashing lights that illuminate other areas of the slot, similar as it happens on Starburst slot of NetEnt and some other slots of other providers. Another aspect that I love about this slot is that reels spin faster in a very nice way, and I think this is funny because that makes allusion to the brand of this slot since it is another creation of the company "Quickspin".

On the other hand, I still see no reason why in this slot your total bet costs twice what you are betting for, for example, if you bet at the bet multiplier of $ 0.01, which it is normally known as a bet per line, and this slot has 20 lines, then "Illuminious" charges you a total bet of $ 0.40 when it should charge only $ 0.20 ($ 0.01 x 20 lines = $ 0.20), I think it must be that the effects of inflation have hit this game hardly, and to be frank I do not see why it is justified to pay more for each turn when a look at the paytable shows us that rates there contained do not exceed rates of similar slots of other brands, additionally the hit average is not superior to other slots, in "Illuminious" it is not uncommon to experience long streaks without hits or with tiny winnings. The game offer great design. The minimum bet is set to 0.4€ and this is the stake I played with. Into game we can find hot reel respins. When 2 bonus wild scatter symbols appear in one spin, the respins start. During respin the triggering reels receive the hot reel effect. And hot reels have additional wilds.

There are also hot reel free spins which is trigger by 3 bonus scatter symbols in a single spin. This activate 5 free spins. While I was playing it, I received only 2 bonus wild scatter symbols. Hot reel respins looks great, the graphics effect are awesome. Once I received hot reel respin for first four reels because in every spin was additional bonus scatter. I had some wild symbols there on the reel, but I was surprised how the game paid out. My won amount was only around 11€ on 0,4€ bet. I thought it will be at least x50 bet for all those wild symbols.

I was a little dissapointed about this game. The free spins was hard to get when I played. And you get only 5 free games which I think is set to low. Otherwise I closed the game before I spent too much money on it. The game is attractive in graphics and sounds effects, but the paytable is poor. I think Quickspin software could add higher paytable into this game and the game would be great.

Pros: Illuminous is the newest edition of the Quickspin provider, which was released this year in June. As any player i was curious to find out what this has to offer, so the first set of spins were free spins given from one casino. I see this game very simple, but with so pure and nicely brighten colors, which I though that this game doesn't have any free spins or bonus round. Well I was right because it doesn't contain any bonus feature but only free spins or re spins that this game offers.

This is 5 reel with 20 pay lines slot where the minimum bet is from 0.20 cents. What I didn't like about this game is the fixed pay lines, which wont allow you to play with less lines, like I play it Starburst slot, when I am too low on credits. The game theme is all about Gems in 4 different colors and some letters and number which pays the less. This game also has wild symbol which is the big golden W and will substitute all the symbols on the reels except the scatter one.

The scatter symbol is another W letter but with Bonus on it, so triggering at least one W Bonus symbol will award you with 1 re spin. The re spin feature is nice one, just because while you play that re spin or free spins actives the Hot Reels feature, which contains an extra wilds. While I played this game I can't say its a high variance paying slot, but maybe low to medium variance paying game, so my opinion another nice game from this Quickspin providers, which is suitable for wagering bonuses, just because the winnings are not so huge but not to low also, but coming very often, so yes I would range it as a medium variance slot.
