Dragon ship is slot game made by Playn'go software. I love their games, most of their games are very well look, and also pay very solid winnings in features. I love such games where you really waiting feature and praying for it.

Game theme is good, and overall look of this game is very good. I like vikings stories, and vikings theme. Also wilds look solid in this game. And treasures chests required for bonus game are also adding feeling of vikings to this game. Huge thumbs up for that.

There is very simple playing in this slot. There is stacked wilds on reels 1 and 5. And also there is only 15 paylines. Most payouts are not very huge, but some of top paying symbols give nice payouts. Also fact that there is stacked wilds on first and last reels give a chance to hit couple 5 of a kinds within one spin, which of course increase winning potential.

Freespins feature is simple. When you hit full wilds on reels 1 and 5 in same spin you get 15 freespins. Wilds will be held on reels 1 and 5 until end of freespins. Feature is giving huge potential to win big, because if you had same symbols on middle reels you will have couple 5 of a kinds. And if this will be good paying symbols you will be very happy.

I had one win more than 100 bets during normal play. I hit 5 best paying symbols. It paid about 150 bets or so. And also I had two features paying more than 200 bets. It seems as we arrive to the free games, the bad weather also do it as the animation of this side game show us the ship is storm-tossed. Dragonship is a video slot that really gave me a hard time. On the outside this game does look so appealing, yet it was a very challenging experience for me to even get ahead in terms of profit. This video slot could easily be mistaken for NetEnt’s Hall of Gods. There are some striking similarities if we take a critical look at the symbols.

Except there is no progressive jackpot to be won here. Dragonship is powered by Play’n Go and this game has a Vikings theme. The symbols and the ocean in the background give the impression that there is a bloody battle to be fought. Only thing I was hoping for when I decided to play Dragonship was to be on the winning side.

The ship itself got the face of a dragon. Thought I’d mention that in case you’d be wondering why they would call it Dragonship. This game features 5-reels, 3-rows and 15-paylines. I played this game on the minimum bet of 15 cents. The symbols include a Viking (Highest paying symbol), Ace, Shield, Trumpet and High value card symbols.

In addition, there is also a Dragon symbol which appears stacked on reels 1 and 5. You need both to appear fully stacked covering those whole reels to trigger the free spins feature. Besides the free spins feature there is also a bonus game, which can get triggered by getting 3 or more Treasure Chest symbols.

Like I said in the beginning of this review, I really had a hard time to win something on this game. The base game appears to be kind of dull. No spectacular wins and reels seem quite difficult to connect, despite the stacked wild appearing on Reel 1 at times.

In no time I lost more than 20 euros by chasing one of the features. Unfortunately I never had the pleasure to experience the Bonus Game. Apparently it’s a pick bonus which can award up to 150x bet. I did however manage to trigger the free spins by getting the Dragon Symbol covering reels 1 and 5 wild.

You then get awarded 15 free spins with both of those reels completely wild. I guess perhaps maybe that’s why it took ages to trigger? Anyway, needless to say it’s much easier having a winning combination if only 3 reels have to connect, and they sure did eventually. I managed to get a few good 5oak combinations to win more than 250x bet.

In one round I had all my money back plus some profit. Too bad I was low rolling in that particular session. Overall this is a game that requires an investment, but if it pays then it will most likely pay very good!

Base game is quite dull and can wipe a balance very quickly. The free spins are really needed to catch a good win.
