dogfather Reviews by Players

Dogfather is a game powered by microgaming. What a stupid game. I honestly hate this game and don’t know why people play it. It is one of the worst games ever. I have only played this game twice.

First time I had around €40 on my account, started playing this game on smallest bet and realized that the wins are too small. So I raised the bet to try to win big. Almost every spin I would get two scatters but never the third. Finally when I had about €15 left the red hydrants came out.And I won €9 on a €1 bet. Before I knew it the rest of my money was gone and I had to deposit again. The second time I started with a big bet straight away. I had around €70 and I wanted to play around €30. The plan was if I lose €30 ill quit straight away. As I was playing it went to €50 then €30 and then I was left with €7. I got the bonus and I got the free spins but didn’t win anything over €25.

To get the free spins I had to get three or more golden fleas anywhere on the reels. You get 13 free spins with all wins tripled. You can retrigger the free spins but I never managed to do that. Over all I did not have a single big win on this game. The pays are very small and nothing ever comes out. The graphics are really bad and the sound effects are very annoying. I would never recommend this game, in fact I would recommend avoiding it. If I was to rate this game I would give it 3 out of 10. Hope you enjoyed my review and have a nice day:)
Dogfather is a Microgaming slot that laid the foundation of one of my biggest comebacks. After playing several slots for hours, I had almost lost my whole bank roll and had only €0.08 left. I couldn't play the usual 243 ways to win slots, since they had a minimum bet of €0.30. So I kept looking at 32Red to see what other slots were available that applied a low set of adjustable paylines.I'm not a huge fan of dogs and I clearly found this slot by mistake lol, since it's not really a game I would choose to play with so many other great choices. The theme is not based on Snoop Dogg's second studio album, but I guess it's more of a Godfather themed slot with dogs instead of humans. The symbols consist of various dogs, guns and several dog accessories. After selecting 8 paylines instead of 20 which this game offers, I started with my first spin and I of course thought that was the last one since I lost 250 euros just prior to that. I got lucky by hitting a winning combination which awarded me just less than 1 euro. The big boss dog in suit is the wild in this game btw and the Itchy flea is the scatter. In addition this game also has a bonus game which gets triggered when hitting 3 or more hydrants. After winning just less than 1 euro, I upgraded my bet to €0.20 and before I knew I had another good hit of 40x bet size. A couple of spins later I hit 3 hydrants which triggers the "Mark your Territory" bonus. You have to pick 3 hydrants from like 12 hydrants and each one of them will reveal a prize. I won like 20x bet size during that game, and my bankroll kept increasing. Now I changed my bet size to 1.00 and again I got lucky because I had 3 scatters to trigger the free spins within 5 spins after the Mark your Territory bonus. I won 13 free spins with a 3x multiplier. During free spins I had some of the top paying symbols lining up real nicely to make me win more than 180 euros.I switched to The Finer Reels of Life and Battlestar Galactica and won over 620 euros only 30 minute later, and cashed out a decent profit after almost being bankrupt lol. Just for this reason I should definitely give Dogfather another try, even though the graphics are bit old and dull.My final rating for Dogfather is a 6.8/10.

Dogfather is our version of "The Godfather". Instead of human characters Microgaming has made them into canines.

I prefer this slot for some reasons and I would like to share some of them on this review. Some of them are because bonuses like the "Mark your Territory" can be rewarding multiple times. I always find this bonus much more often than the free spins. It could be that I have played around with the expert option to autoplay some of the spins and incorporated manual spins of my own. I find that playing with these two buttons can change how the reels would stop in my own opinion. You should give it a try to see if the symbols will cooperate with you. To mark your territory in the bonus all you have to do to get credits is to choose 3 fire hydrants on screen to gain random values. I would recommend betting from 3 coins to the maximum 5 coins for $1. The more fire hydrants that land on the reels the better the values inside. I think depending on the number of scatters they bounce back the amount of picks you can choose within the bonus.

If you want to wager off your bonus on this slot it may be a good idea but there are other slots that will be far better than Dogfather. In terms of free spins, the usual totals I would get from 12 free spins at 3x would be around $10.....always around $10 everytime. It's a little disappointing but somehow decent. I'd expected much more coming from these spins. If dogs and crime are what you would prefer then you will find this slot to be pleasing. For winnings from these symbols they should really have the Don act for a 3x wild to give us more of the benefits coming from combinations. Now that will be more than fair!

Overall, frequency of bonus rounds can be very delicious however slots can also be about randomness & luck so be cautious. Dogfather would stand at a 7.6 out of 10!
